After 8 months of showing no concern for people who work for a living, no I don’t believe Lightfoot gives a damn. I’m not implying conspiracy, just inept leadership in NY and Chicago. What I will posit is that I could believe their policies were to spite someone they disliked rather than to try leading their people to the best of their ability.

That’s a PA release by an editor, and the underlying “natural scientific study” about mask mandates it references is correlation at best...otherwise how are we spiking so bad with more mask mandates than ever within this pandemic? It studied two months in the spring when mask mandates would be hard pressed to be separated from the bevy of other shutdowns and reactionary measures.

One of the biggest hurdles is working cyber considerations not only into new acquisitions, but figuring out how to protect the acquisition/lifecycle chains of legacy systems that were built without a lot of consideration for it. I don't envy those guys having to go to the SPO/HAF and say... "hey, you really need to spend money on this really boring back-end thing for the next software upgrade on this sunset system."
