  1. Ditto. Made the required input, did not get desired February result. Maybe next time.
  2. Thought this was the WTF thread for a second.
  3. Woman Fatally Shoots Herself After Adjusting Gun in Bra Holster
  4. It'd probably be cancelled out by how many people opt to separate after their commitment despite getting promoted anyway.
  5. Golden. Unfortunately there was one opponent Boyd didn't build his OODA loop to defeat: the USAF. They've expanded further upon that 8-step defeat of the OODA loop's purpose. There are now 8 steps with 8 sub-steps which each have 3 processes. No wonder we develop leaders that can't make decisions; they never reach the end of the AF risk-averse decision process.
  6. There are only so many healthcare professionals to lend to 3d world countries in the US military. We have assets for logistics, presence, and fighting. Did they want us to shoot a virus?
  7. It was Observe Obstruct Defer Standfast, right?
  8. It must, because that's how we're also fixing the missile career field. Clearly we wouldn't do it if it was flawed. Money doesn't make up for years straight of shift work with no draw down in tempo.
  9. EW aircraft are part of a synergistic approach in more than one level of contest. And isn't "missiles will take care of everything" the same stupid argument they made with the Phantom? Did they not watch Top Gun?!
  10. Bingo. If not, he definitely hated Creech.
  11. What ISIS Really Wants This article seems to analyze the underlying fanaticism fairly well (as far as taking things back to the 7th century), but these are his analysis of COAs, if you will.
  12. Weird that 11SF didn't make the list. I thought they'd be hurting.
  13. And by study on RPA caps, you mean he said the AF would fill whatever request the ground units put forth at whatever the cost was without regard to money or manning.
  14. Because blind assumption never fails. Edit: why do you want the system to stay as-is? It can be improved upon.
  15. In AFGSC, not just limited to A3H (if...and I'm assuming here... the H is for helicopters). We had a SPO rep stand up and tell us recently that essentially they were surprised that Link 16 was viewed as an important capability.
  16. Chill the fuck out. Absolutely false. My precious sq/cc has never had an assignment outside of flying. Dealing in absolutes is a dangerous business from both sides.
  17. Haha, nice. I admit mine was more a play on Fogle's "combat xxxx" BS, but good work.
  18. Will this make him a combat cameraman?
  19. Exactly. It covers TOs, GP, charts, approach plates. Weighs 1.69 lbs.
  20. Secretly building in the Mojave desert? What is this, a Fifth Gen trainer?
  21. Are you saying that talking about the Air Force attempting to retire an asset that we recognize as valuable is tantamount to treason?
  22. He must have flown with Brian Williams.
  23. All of AFGSC is using EFBs, and there's a ton of majcom level testing/certifying that went on over about 2 years. It developed from a conemp to a full up AFGSCI. They're finally at the "use them for TOs, FLIP, and moving map/live Wx" stage. PM me your .mil and I can send you some details that hopefully get you talking to the right people.
  24. I thought the light greys were already at the v3 stage. Stragglers?
  25. Bullshit. What they don't want to be is you. People who have served have served and should be thanked. Everyone has to make their own decision when they are done.
