  1. One of the big points they have pitched on this is that PME above SOS will be accredited for a Masters (distance and residence), so if you complete the appropriate PME, your degree requirement will be fulfilled.
  2. If you ignore that it doesn't make a better recon platform than the U-2.
  3. This is the heart of the problem with the JSF. It's not really a Joint Strike Fighter anymore, it's supposed to be a Joint Everything Fighter. The logic that we only have enough money to develop one fighter amongst the services breaks down when you're asking a company to build a machine so complex that it meets the requirements across every service for completely different modes of operation. I would wager that had they had separate developments for a 85% common AF/Navy variant and separate Marine variant, it would have cost less for two aircraft programs than for one JSF program.
  4. I've been able to get it to work running IE11 in compatibility mode with the new OWA interface (yellow vice the old blue). Options> See All Options> Settings> S/MIME (should be across the top [Mail, Calendar, General, Sent Items, Regional, S/MIME])
  5. Anyone seen this article yet? Large detail on the AAD/Promotion process. https://truemilitaryintelligence.com/node/4
  6. It seems like the 2010 Nuclear Posture Review addresses the fact that the world has changed and nuclear deterrence isn't effective against non-state (i.e. terror) groups, but is still essential for nuclear-states and that the Administration [reluctantly] still views it as important. Whether that is effectively communicated to the nuclear force is a different issue, but the information is out there. ETA: So I guess what I'm going for is, 1) is this guy aware of what America says its Nukes are really doing (deterring nations)? And 2) does he actually think that America thinks a bunch of goat farmers in Afcrapistan care about our nuclear deterrence? My impression from this article is 1) No and 2) Yes because of the answer to #1. There are my spears.
  7. You can use a large pan on a stove if a machine isn't available.
  8. When used with the B_p vs B_r (beauty perceived vs beauty real) and corner ugly [think E-M diagram] wrt drinking driving down inhibition, could drive some serious TTPs. WIC level analysis on that as well from one of the older guys in our sq.
  9. Hasn't he heard? Wars in contested environments are over.
  10. He's referencing the nuke procedures testing, not the normal aircrew testing.
  11. You're forgetting this is the home of stupidity.
  12. Shoe Flag: no-go. Not surprised.
  13. Alamogordo police ID airmen killed in crash
  14. And most officers aren't wholly consumed by uniform corrections, which is the stigma associated with SNCOs.
  15. We have a decently good idea how long it takes the body to process alcohol and fairly objective ways to measure how much is in your system, both to set an objective limit and asses your state if you're suspected of not following the rules. Can the same be said for marijuana?
  16. We've given them some hellfires, some UAVs, some airplanes, and demonstrated some ways to use them. Hopefully they can figure out partnering with the local tribes to drive ISIS out. It's their fight now.
  17. The use of airborne isr assets in AFG is an absolute abomination of the potential capabilities because the army controls it. That abortion should be evidence enough that the Air Force should remain its own arm. And while I'm at it, if centcom could go ahead and give us the ability to allocate our air assets again, that'd be great.
  18. If you're taking the librarian-look chick, sounds like Walter Mitty is your movie.
  19. No, I just don't find the nebulous nature of your question interesting, so I answered within the context of what I did find interesting. It seems it was too invasive and could be done more effectively by working within the limits of the constitution.
  20. So you recommend going nuclear first? Nice...
  21. If the end result is that really, nothing had changed, then what was the point? The constitution can be protected and defended without violating the protection of classified information.
  22. Distracting from the fact that the disclosure is criminal by crying about how bad the NSA is. What end result? Are you under the impression that the NSA has stopped or isn't figuring out a new way of doing the same thing?
