So, if the guard will pay for the FC1, and they are the ones who initiated contact with WP, then I should be able to complete my medical requirements before waiting for the 368 to be approved. I have no problems doing the coordinating from here, but I imagine the guard should need to be in on the loop if they would be paying and I'd be on "invitational orders." I'm just trying to learn what I need to do to push things forward and keep the ball rolling since I've hit a bit of a lull. It's almost 3 months since being hired and nearly 2 since my Request for FC1 paperwork was initially submitted, and coming up on a month since I submitted my paperwork to the FC1 coordinator. Makes sense I need to be worn into the guard before I can receive dates and pushing NAVPERS for the 368 is another separate issue I may come upon. Thanks for all the info

Thank you and thanks for all the info. I'll give them a call later this week. If that doesn't do much good then I may ask for the Program Managers info. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. I had a friend have an initial DD368 denied and sit around for a year for it to be approved the second time. We contacted our OCM and figured out his hold up was within our Command and it never reached PERS before and his turnaround was almost immediate with PERS. Most recently, my Program Office told me that my DD368 is with PERS and I've done everything I need to. Much longer I may need to figure out which doors to knock on there, I haven't looked into their setup yet... My hope is I don't have to wait much longer on NAVPERS. Frustrating that I just need that approval signature and I could get some hard dates if I understand you correctly. I can do that before the FC1 and MFS have been completed?

Has anyone had an FC1 scheduled recently? It's been 3 weeks since I emailed the coordinator, I gave a follow up call last week, but haven't heard anything about scheduling a date yet. Did the shut down affect their operations? FWIW I did not include my social on anything I emailed for obvious reasons - I said to call me and provided my number. But again, have not had contact.

Hey man, I'm pretty sure I know who this is. You haven't been texting me back lately ;). If not...then disregard. My buddy had a lot of trouble getting his DD368 through our Command, didn't even reach NAVPERS the first time so I may be taking a big jump here.

Hey all, I was selected for UPT by a Guard unit and was wondering if anyone could give me some thoughts on where my timeline will go from here, how long to expect in between. Some background, I'm currently in the Naval Reserve with my DD-368 being processed. Fwiw I took the AFOQT back in 2014 as well, retook it last summer. Sept 6 '18- AFOQT Nov 2 '18 - Interview Nov 6 '18 - Hired Dec 11 '18 - DD368 Submitted to Program Office Jan 8 '19 - DD368 arked for approval by program office - off to NAVPERS for approval. Jan 8 '19 - Sent requested information to FC1 coordinator (excluded social, said to call me since I didn't want to just email this - Have not heard back from coordinator yet). What sort of timeline should I expect from here? I need the FC1 before I can get any training dates, correct? I did not finish my PPL so I also need to go to IFS before UPT. Thanks everyone.
