  3. Don’t know much about him, but I enjoyed his grilling of our idiot SecDef Austin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Also, if that memo from the SC ANG is accurate, it sounds like the ARC won’t be getting many/any UPT slots on the fighter side for a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Not nearly enough CSIs to keep the program going. Hence why the lack of an end date is an issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Don’t think anyone plans on going T-6s, and T-6 pit is backed up to the point that they were sending FAIPs TDY to teach qual phase. Also, they aren’t working assignments yet since the AMF-S end date hasn’t been officially announced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah, fvck that guy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Apparently he’s on Grindr if you want to find an empty barstool next to him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So you have no idea why they’d be sending you to an FEB? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Don’t worry though, they’re going to phase out the T-6 and use civilian flight schools instead. Good thing there isn’t excessive demand already for civilian flight training. The 250 hour CFI pyramid scheme is going to do great things for future AF pilot quality! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nice ride! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Think he’s referring to Wills, the idiot who started it all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. And now they announced -38 studs are going to start dropping heavies because the FTUs are too backed up. You know what plane was cheaper to operate and worked great for producing heavy pilots? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. XPW? Maybe, but I’m hearing all tails will be divested by May/June. AMF-F is done, and everyone expects AMF-S to be gone by January. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. AFF is a T-1 AMP sim only program for ATP holders to introduce the Air Force way of flying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. They’re mostly being sent to AMARG. Some were sold to use for crash fire rescue training, and I heard California DOC wanted to buy some for prisoner transport. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Avionics Modernization Program. Vance and Columbus fly them. Replaced the traditional displays with MFDs. Total waste of money, it made the aircraft ADS-B out compliant, and added the ability for LPV minimums. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. UCT is shutting down too, from what I heard. DLF loses all tails by the end of the CY. AMP jets at Vance and Columbus may be gone as soon as May 2025, or they maybe funded through 2026. AMF-S will be done sometime in FY 25, no actual date announced yet, but speculation is the last class will graduate in Dec 24 or Jan 25. AFF at Randolph is still a thing for now. 19AF/AETC can’t be bothered to announce their actual plans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. You only need 750 for R-ATP. Getting out with a job at an ULCC or Regional is better than getting out without one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Get your R-ATP, find a job with Breeze or a regional. As far as finding a reserve unit, will you be done with PIT and at your new base before your board results come out? If so, I’d suggest building a good rapport with the reservists there and trying to get gained by them once you decline continuation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Wow. Around 2011 he was briefly engaged to a C-17 pilot in Chucktown. Maybe that’s why it fell apart… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Vertical guidance does not meet LPV? I’m pretty sure vertical guidance was non-existent on the T-6 GPS. I’m pretty sure the first LNAV/VNAV approach I flew was in the T-1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I saw an AC drop about a year ago, went to the near bottom, if not bottom, of the class. I think we’ve had a few since. Multiple MCs, a good number of U-28s, as well as 146s. The U-28 is also a platform that they’ve been doing the trial groups direct from T-6s with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Any 06 year group types on here that were passed over for O-5, and continued to 24? In the past, I knew a lot of guys who were initially continued to 20, and then offered 24 the following board. The few guys I know in my YG in the same boat haven’t been offered 24. I have no intention of staying a day past 20, but the option would be nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
