  1. On topic of PPL - With IPT coming online I wonder how much the board is going to look at PPLs as a deciding factor since in IPT they are going to send everyone back to civilian flight school to get their ratings regardless of what they have. Or I wonder if they ever looked at PPLs in that kind of a light, but instead it was more of a you're more likely to have a high PCSM if you have your PPL from high flight hours.
  2. Dude thats pretty cool that you took it on the chin last year and came back stronger instead of letting it beat you up. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't get picked up this year especially if they have your old package in their system to see the improvements you did.
  3. When I got my MFS email, they had the IFT instructions in there as well. LOA was the same for both. I would just make sure that your formal training sent your signed RIP up the chain if it gets any closer.
  4. All depends on how quick your outbound assignment team can draft up the orders and push them to afpc. First thing Monday it might be a good idea to call over there to start the convo.
  5. Also here is the webpage that breaks out reporting instructions little more in depth. https://www.afrl.af.mil/About-Us/Fact-Sheets/Fact-Sheet-Display/Article/2336839/usafsam-fci-medical-flight-screening/
  6. Bottom of page 1 on the RIP you signed has reporting instructions. Basically it says there is a shuttle that leaves the front desk to make it to the 0730 show time at bldg 840. Must hand carry records. Additionally if you didn’t know, in situations outside of this one, there is website devoted to course reporting instructions called ETCA. For some reason MFS isn’t on ETCA, but if you’re going to IFT it is on there along with almost any other course you will attend over your career. Such as SERE, water survival, etc.
  7. I just went through this yesterday. Call the STUS Squadron that pushed you the RIP. They can help you out with everything.
  8. Yep looks like a month after my IFT is over will be my RNLTD of 30 Sept
  9. Double tap on this. My IFT was loaded into my CDB for me to see. I went to my CSS and they pulled my record and was able to see my MFS and UPT dates that were hidden. My SURF was clean though. Apparently it updated at midnight and the dates were loaded at 1 am. Also I got my assignment RIP from the CC this morning as well. See you all in Columbus!
  10. Have you checked your SURF on AMS for projected trainings? Mine updates on Wednesday’s not sure if everyone’s does or if it’s a last name thing. But it had 3 lines that maybe can help you build some info
  11. That trick only works with orders and sadly they're not loading orders till closer to the end of next month. We are looking at just MFS and IFT which won't show up anywhere except the CDB and SURF since they are just TDYs.
  12. I feel this. I almost replied to the contact lens email just to make sure they weren’t waiting on my response even though they said positive responses only. After I get medically cleared they can take as long as they need on everything else. I just want that warm and fuzzy that I don’t have some random eye issue that was missed.
  13. Were they both RIPs? Or just an informal email?
