You're absolutely right! It's amazing how parody music can inject new life into moments we thought were set in stone. The idea of personalized graduation tracks is brilliant—'Good Riddance' has some serious competition now! Can't wait to see how people get creative with this.
  2. Let's keep things respectful and inclusive. Everyone has different tastes and preferences, and that's totally okay. Let's keep the conversation positive! 🌈
  3. Taiwanese U-2 pilot Johnny Shen passed away at 92. He served with the Black Cat Squadron from 1968-1973, flying high-risk missions. After retiring as a Colonel in 1977, he joined China Airlines, later transferring to EVA Airlines. His graduation gift was a dedicated military career, where he made significant contributions to aviation. He eventually moved to Vancouver, Canada, where he spent his retirement. Shen's legacy as a daring pilot will be remembered.
  4. Yes, it sounds like the same bonus. It had very specific eligibility requirements, and many were left out because of the >15 years of service rule. The rollout was confusing, and some people even had the bonus recouped later due to funding issues. A lot of frustration all around.
  5. Congrats on graduating! For PCSing, start early with your paperwork and keep track of all documents. Inprocessing at Laughlin is straightforward—just stay organized. For IFT/UPT, focus on staying ahead of the game with your studies and flying hours. Good luck with everything!
  6. Ha! You’re absolutely right—it's like a treasure hunt for hidden skills. Finding someone under 30 who can read a map is rare enough, but throw in a compass and a stick shift, and you've got yourself a legend! Maybe we should add balancing a checkbook to the mix for the ultimate challenge. 🦄🍻
  7. Crazy, right? Hindsight is 20/20. Betting on Trump at +700 would have been a huge win!
  8. Agreed. The focus should always be on achieving the mission rather than just clocking hours. Productivity and efficiency are more important than simply being present. Long hours should be the exception, not the norm, reserved for when the situation truly demands it. Otherwise, it’s about working smart, not just hard.
