1. We mostly use it for pre flight planning, making sure we won’t have any issues landing or taking off from a runway, looking at 3 engine out issues and break energy. 2. If the TOLD app could include the required mitigations necessary from the 1-1 that would be absolutely awesome. Overall, right now it has been a tremendous app for planning so thanks!!

Interesting to see all the people quiet when Obama abused executive privilege now up in arms about Trump using executive power..see how that works? The difference is this time it is actually to protect Americans from the out of control illegal immigration flood.

Commanders are dropping like flies this year

That PR stunt is what is wrong with the Air Force and society. If women are equal to and as capable as men, then why does this warrant celebration? -
Sorry let me be more clear: the only rated O-4s I have seen as DOs are school selects, or are most likely getting picked up for school. Of those, most will likely go to staff after. These are the people I’m referring to as shiny pennies (not in a bad way, but their careers are pretty much taken care of.) There are a few other 0-4 DOs but they are usually already 0-5 selects (may or may not be shiny pennies.)
-
Every rated* 0-4 I know of that is a DO is one of the shiny penny type that’s about to go to school / staff or is already an 0-5 select. Edit to include rated.

This is my confusion as well, how the hell is this middle of the road with multiple top tier strats? Sounds like the dude’s SR either doesn’t know what he is talking about or is playing games.

Shacked it. Let us also not forget that some people are against Trump’s ideas because they are fueled by their desire for him to fail. Look at Black Caucasus members like Lewis and Sheila Jackson Lee, they flat out admitted they didn’t vote for Trump’s criminal justice reform because they didn’t want him to succeed, even though the left has been asking for this for decades.

And Wing/CCs blatantly ignoring CSAF and SECAF guidance. Can’t blame fingers for this mess when his minions’ minions run this monkey show.

IDE in res? W/ DP?

According to a handful of Canadians at an ex, Trudeau has been decimating their military and training resources so they are trying to send some of their studs here.

I’ll answer your last question: because the GOP is not united. Some GOP senators / reps prefer to look cool by obstructing the President as opposed to working with him to move the agenda forward (I.e Flake, McCain, Collins). We call them RINOs, republican in name only. Oh and don’t forget the failure Mitt Romney and his desperate yet fact-less swing at the President. Political beliefs aside, establishment politicians on both sides are terrified of Trump because he is challenging the status quo. These establishment politicians have remained in power for so long that any changes in the status quo threaten their power and job security. Trump’s personal style/tweets/gaffes aside, at least he is an honest pragmatist.

Wtf are you talking about? Weapons School isn’t about “weapons” it is about creating expert tacticians who are proficient at integrating effects, you know, what we do when we actually go to war. Also, many AMC assets fly in the same MEZ as the pointy nose bretheren, so it makes sense to have proficient tacticians who understand how to mitigate those threats. So yes you are the stupid one for making that comment. Unfortunately, AMC leadership does horrible job at properly utilizing its patches. I’ve seen some improvements but still too many Wing Exec Patches.
-
Nah, WIC (AMC side) is to produce future wing execs and aide-de-camps.
-
But we are xenophobic for asking for one, makes sense.

Part of the reason the MAF sucks in a lot of places is: Phoenix Eagle. Many of the MAF’s leaders are part of this self licking ice cream cone of careerism. On the other hand, most CCs I’ve met on the CAF side are Weapons Officers. Kind of shows the difference in priorities and why we rightfully often get shit on by the CAF. Fortunately, I’ve seen this trend start to change in the MAF. Quite a few weapons officers getting picked up for command. Many other “non-special programs” officers are also getting picked up and some of them didn’t even do in-residence IDE.

Wasn’t that the proposed deal this past summer? Trump straight up offered legalization for Dreamers in return for the wall. Dems refused and walked away, now here we are.

Then there is this : https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/01/04/hours-after-making-history-rep-rashida-tlaib-profanely-promises-impeach-trump/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.a58936d27594 Hard to make an argument against Trump’s “temperament” when you keep stooping to new lows. This kind of behavior will all but guarantee a Trump re-election.

Yeah, mostly from TSOs!

Hey genius, can you name a single organization where you won’t face the same consequences for openly airing your grievances with your boss? Get over your Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Some may argue that the move is unilateral, but bear in mind that this President’s courage to put American interests first, even ahead of those of our “allies,” is why he got elected and is doing so well. It is utterly entertaining to see the “peace loving” left sit here and try to criticize the President’s decision on Syria. What do you guys want, to go melt in another s$:7 hole for another 18 years with no exit strategy? The blind hatred for Trump cannot be more obvious over the events of the last few days. I will always respect Mattis, but I think it was finally time for the two to part ways. Some people, especially those in the military, are being way too dramatic about this. The average tenure of a SECDEF is 2-3 years, Mattis’s was no different. The sky isn’t falling.

How do you feel about your airframe and mission?

Gone a lot, sporadically, to places you can’t talk about. -
2, it’s always fun to trigger some diamonds and Chiefs. Helps to separate the shoe clerks from the SNCOs you can actually respect and turn to.

Disagree with the “you are what your record says you are.” How many dirtbags can we all think of with stellar records on paper that are now in command/06s? There was a time not too long ago that the best records were those of the Christmas party planners, the ones who did masters work instead of studying the airplane as copilots and generally the biggest brownnosers. Heck those people still sort of thrive. Likewise, I am sure we can think of a few dudes that everyone of our peers respect in and out of the airplane that aren’t on any “command track.”

For an Admiral, he has very a poor understanding of how the constitution works.

SecFo “earned” their berets? If having the lowest ASVAB score amongst all AFSCs and checking ID cards makes you think you are badass then it’s no wonder other services make fun of us. There are grunts our there who do god’s most dangerous work and have legitimately earned those berets.
