This is what happens when you have non operators running the A1 echelons.

I’m sure you were well loved so don’t take this personally but what is it with toxic AFSOC senior leaders?? You guys must want to compete badly with AMC to see who can run their pilots out of the Air Force faster.

The only thing he’s good at is gaslighting , only because many Americans are dumb enough to believe it.

Commanders are dropping like flies this year

It’s a thankless job, it should definitely be a job contracted by civilians or done by GSs. The few good ones I’ve met were given some more rewarding responsibilities within the DOs realm to help them stand out. Of course that’s hard if the individual doesn’t give a shit to begin with. -
Word on the street is LAF-A 0-5 list is out. Initial RUMINT is low 70s overall.

He tried to ban low levels for a while, that didn’t last long. -

Well good then, another shoe clerk gets the boot. Although it’s his keen attention to your brother’s patch and obsession with appearances that probably got him to the GO ranks to begin with. -

Don’t listen to this, the best TDYs in my life were in PACAF. You may have to pay a little out of pocket to not stay at cockroach inn on upper Tumon Vice the Westin but it’s worth it. -

Even if they knew the contrary to be true, would they really come out and admit it? They are all political appointees serving under the current regime.

It’s a good thing there’s a low probability of a Robot Rebellion; otherwise we would fail as a nation at that too.

Active duty switch from from heavy to fighter

This is the best advice you’re going to get. I’ll also offer - do your best to love the one you’re with / bloom where you are planted. Once you start learning your mission set it becomes easier to become integrated with the community and enjoy the mission without looking back. Please don’t be the new guy who shows up day one telling everyone he doesn’t want to be there. It’s really hard to recover from that, and many communities even in the mobility world are quite proud. I am not saying you will do that but I’ve seen it rather often with young bucks. I was a 38 to mobility guy. At first I was pretty disappointed but I did my best to accept it and move on before I got to my first unit. If you do not like your mission, still knock it out of the park and there are many options to try something else. -
I’ll take boring over another embarrassment like Afghanistan. He will be heaps better than the current asshat of a CJCS.

Spring 2021, this is the photo op I was referring to earlier.

Who are you referring to?

Surprised to see Van Ovost on there, they don’t usually make Combatant Commanders Service Chiefs. She is a credible leader and got where she is on her own merit but it wouldn’t surprise me if she becomes CSAF so they can play the “first female Chief of Staff” drum, she has already been in some of the White House’s PR stunts. I would offer Gen Minihan as most qualified for the job given our current pacing threat and his resume out West. However, he is a disruptive leader (in a good way, little over the top but effective)…that level of leadership selection doesn’t reward anyone but yes men (or women or whatever). Fingers was a bit disruptive, a lot of good changes happened under him especially with regards to talent management. Gen Brown just seems to keep the lights on and not make any waves.

And I’ve seen it in the military. I’ve had a sitting squadron commander shame her squadron for not wanting to read White Fragility, I’ve seen 1206s and strat lists get kicked back because “too many white men.” The sitting head of DEI in the DOD is an open racist who still has a job. I really wanted to believe that these were isolated incidents and that my fellow conservatives are propping these up as boogeymem, heck I wish that was the case…but it is sadly not.

It’s the standard “DOD all - don’t sell national secrets to an online gaming community.”

Because it’s California, give it a visit and it will all make sense!

Pretty fitting for the current batch of nominative positions. I know she’s a “Dr.” but, gheesh!

You’re not kidding it seems…what is “Col Charm School?” AWC or Wing/CC course?

I wouldn’t give the Democratic Party that much credit but it’s not that far fetched to think about. They know anyone but Trump would humiliate Biden and Kamala. Biden still hasn’t announced that he is running and the election is only about a year and a half out.

He’s still and will always be a dude. #Science #Biology

He’s pretty far ahead in the polls but that could change. It’s hard not to love Nikki Haley. Her intelligence, class, and elegance…yet her ability to throw a punch. Also how cool would it be to rob the woke left of their celebration of the “first female president.”

Destroyed our energy sector, rejoined the useless Paris Climate Accords, continued to cow tow towards Iran while they kill Americans, massive number DEI/affirmative action hires like VPOTUS, humiliated the United States in Afghanistan, billions of dollars to Ukraine that we will never see again all while ensuring a free flow of future voters, sorry I mean illegal immigrants, sorry I mean “Undocumented Persons” across the Southern Border. These are mainstream Dem positions right? I’ll just let Nsplayr explain himself and also explain why he has zero critiques of a nation wide “Assault Weapon” Ban.
