I was strictly a T-38 IP at Whiteman from 2008-2011 and as for quality of life, it was great. There were three flying periods with 0900, 1200 and 1500 take-offs and at that time and money for cross-countries. Also, I would recommend living in Warrensburg.
As for manning, I can't answer that question anymore but it seemed that all the pilots fresh out of UPT flew the -38 for about 2 years after PIT before starting B-2's. Best of luck...
