    Sounds like the same argument when we were forced to take the Anthrax series of shots, back in the day I had to travel to PSAB four times and got four boosters in one year. Now back then people had adverse reactions others got nothing, everyone's body is different. Some people eat Taco Bell and actually get plugged up. It may be useless it may help you , has anyone have the no BS skinny about these shots where our High School classmates who never left our hometown won't fact check you?

    On 9/11 we didn't have a problem generating 24 hour coverage as we shutdown CONUS airspace but that was 20 years ago and the 552 ACW had ongoing deployments to PSAB and Incirlik plus every Red Flag. Only seeing 4 acft on the flightline because all others being used or in PDM. What happened? I was resigned to the fact I would be deployed 9 months a year, What happened?

    Another fairy tale, we live in a Constitutional Republic and not a oligarchy and Joe Biden got 80 million votes. I'll stick with what I have faith in, God and congress is the best that money can buy.

    When I was there the scuttlebutt about this was the Afghan shooter was flying unplanned missions with the C-27's , for what anybody's guess but heroin would be mine and the USAF folks were about to pull the plug on the moonlighting gig. I wonder how much money never made it to Afghanistan and got held up in a tight lipped bank in Dubai.

    I remember when we launched for our first flights into Afghanistan in Oct 2001 the Guard B-1s handled the load and active duty birds were spare parts. You know it's all about sortie count and flying hour program, I wonder if that had something to do about her firing.

    I was on a MRT in Mildenhall getting a E-3 repaired, our AC LtCol sat the right seat for me so I could troubleshoot. He was shocked and got educated on what we do and try to do plus deduce what a pilot see's when the write up was noticed. We were doing stuff he wouldn't think of trying. MX vs Op's run engines with totally different checklists. During my 89th days 86 to 91 the Crew Chiefs certified by a IP had to taxi the jets VC-137's and VC-135B's down to the hammer head due to no high power run spots on the ramp at Andrews. Plus taxi them during Preflight to the VIP spot in front of Base Ops. Back in the SAC days Tanker crews who were the last to land for the day usually got tasked to do power engine runs when water injection was required, when SAC went away AMC came down and told MX they could do all 4 to water, before MX was only allowed 2 to water. I bet the young guys are going huh water?

    I've seen out there in the MX world when a MX Sq CC over corrects and starts giving out Art 15's for any misstep. Gets to the point where MX stops because no one wants to put their name in the 781 forms. Plus the whole QA culture has always been adversarial with the working troops. One QA write up not wearing your reflective belt or not having a laptop T.O. open to the task your doing no matter how mundane is how petty it gets. During engine runs or launches all tools should be secured including laptops, I never had it opened when pilots were in the seats.

    Have a friend who got passed over for Major, separated, joined the Guard, got promoted to Major, flies for an airline. Got married, now has two kids. I say it worked out for him.

    Well they do call it the "practice" of medicine and not science. The polio vaccine took over 30 years to be developed. Myself I have both shots of the Moderna , besides nausea when first taken I have had no other side affects since 25/03. The Lord willing and the river doesn't rise. With 23 years on active duty I also have a 4 page shot record to include anthrax and small pox.

    MX is not for a person who is sensitive and needs time outs. To be successful you have find your own way of personal accomplishment. The guys who are good and the ones who make the schedule happen are treated like rented mules. The ones who get the recognition suck in mx but are allowed to do all the things that will make them perfumed E-9s. Just keep them away from the flight line so they don't screw us up. I don't envy a MX Sq CC, her senior enlisted leadership E-9's probably did not give her the support or loyalty needed to be successful. Since those E-9's are part of a culture of only looking out for themselves and were trying to become super E-9's instead of supporting the mission of the Sq. If I was the incoming SQCC I would clean house and made sure these guys had the EPR's to match being a POS. Seek out the guys always wearing coveralls, who's suede boots are black and have a talk with them. The B-1 is the most MX intense jet there is in the inventory, you need good mechanics not flashlight holders.

    Having the pleasure and a procedure to remove a 5mm one stuck between the kidney and the bladder plus passing a few on my own. I would suggest stop drinking all brown forms of soda, cut back on coffee, learn to like green tea and make sure you drink plenty of water. If your peeing clear you should be in good shape, plus I'm not a Doctor but this is what he told me. Got a bud who was a PJ who constantly got them and had to go back to mx, he did everything right but was a gravel factory. I think I rather be kicked in the nads then pass a kidney stone.

    Unfortunately that is part of the force that is the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. What's next, lets fly a E-3 or E-8 mission with nothing but LGBT members with the Wing CC's jet, rainbow tail. It seems we are going back to 1947 and segregating AF members by race, sex and how you get your freak on.

    Have been watching Sky News Australia, they have a different take from the outside looking in. They have much more to lose if Biden mucks up Chinese relations and by their tone they are not confidant.

    In Oklahoma we had cold like this back in 83 but not the snow, we had rolling blackouts for one day and businesses shutdown exterior lighting. This is our first time that I can remember us having snow on top of snow followed by a week long cold snap. Usually we have a big snow at night and by the afternoon most of it melted, that didn't happen. I believe in the future and changing weather patterns this will be a regular occurrence, I notice it when we do compass swings on the 135's at PDM, the magnetic north pole changes so much lately we are continuing moving the noses of the jets more in a northeast direction to accomplish it. I believe Mag North is now somewhere in Siberia plus the Fukishima earthquake changed the axis where the KTIK main runway changed its numbers from 17/35 to 18/36. The Earth is changing.

    British Columbia makes California look like a right wing junta, Alberta has been wanting to this for years but the leftists in BC kibosh it every time. Alberta has a movement in its borders to leave Canada and become part of the U.S.. It is actually legal to secede from Ottawa, they have been paying the Quebecois for years to stay with Alberta's money.

    I have read this many times, my own conclusion is that the elites more or less think the American people are morons . So they think for the greater good, their good not ours, to save the country at all costs from the morons. We are much too stupid to decide for ourselves. Unfortunately now we now have half the population who thinks Joe Biden is a stooge for the elites and have a amoral VP who gave sexual favors to get her start in politics a heart beat away from being #47.

    Be nice to see the states get together and impose term limits and start using the 17th amendment by state legislators pick the two Senators from their state. That way they are answerable to their state house not their donors.

    I believe we will see mass voter non participation in future elections. I'm 58 and finally understand that both political parties are clubs for the sole purpose of getting the made guys elected. It was never about public service, since the Biden's are now in power the big money donors will call all the shots to include military contractors. Those of you still in Afghanistan or on the hook for it, we will be probably be staying now. Back to the status quo , business as usual.
