My opinion: CA has great scenery and lots of good outdoors stuff, but that's where the positives stopped for us. Everything else was expensive and we weren't fans of the gun laws there and the other CA politics. Dover for us isn't the best, but there is lot's to do around and Delaware is unbelievably cheap in terms of property tax and no sales tax and goods in general.

My problem is I literally did nothing since my last opr

Anyone know the rules with oprs? I went on terminal with less than 120 days of supervision after my last opr closed out. I got an LOE because my reserve unit said at least get that. I palace fronted into the reserves. The civilian on base is now telling me my opr is due and it sticks with my opr date from active duty? The problem is I was on terminal for a little over 4 months and only been to 2 UTAs since ive been busy with my civilian job.....what she is saying doesnt sound right to me...my take is that my opr date should be 1 year from when I entered the reserves...since I came palace front its basically like I entered the reserves from the street so shouldnt that be when my clock starts ticking for an opr? Hoping someone around here has some experience with this kind of thing.

best of luck. I separated from AD on 29 Sep...gained to my unit 30 Sep but they weren't able to schedule me for newcomers until the Nov UTA....had to go through that before being able to do anything in my sq.

i know a guy that pushed his back but still within the window. I'd highly doubt they would have a problem moving yours up....but then again it is big blue.

my DOS was 29 Sep and 6 Oct my unit told me i could come get my TAMP card....i called tricare that day and switched back to prime...they back dated it to 30 Sep.

Going through this right now. Turns out my scroll went 23 sep and my is at my losing base didn't know.... Was gained by my unit within a week and tricare back dated my coverage to day after separation date. I also called and switched back to prime.

yeah about that, it was 29 sep....

anyone still waiting on the scroll? There have been 3 that I know of since May but mine still has not gone...my ISR said he put me on some special VSP scroll that was supposed to be done in september but apparently still hasnt.

I got my vsp payout today but haven't gotten my final check yet
