AF Times story with a list of all the aircraft moves in AD, ANG, and AFRC. There are 3 pdf files in the article that contain all the good info.

https://www.airforcetimes.com/news/2013/03/air-force-moves-forward-with-restructuring-plan-032913/

Out

Anyone have another link/source for this? The link within this article is a no-go and I haven't been able to find the info anywhere else

Pretty shortly, Little Rock AFB will look like this:

19 Airlift Wing (RegAF AMC):

- 41 Airlift Squadron (C-130J)

- 61 Airlift Squadron (C-130J)

314 Airlift Wing (RegAF AETC):

- 48 Airlift Squadron (C-130J FTU)

- 62 Airlift Squadron (C-130H FTU, no aircraft, augmenting the ANG)

189 Airlift Wing (AR ANG)

- 154 Training Squadron (C-130H FTU)

913 Airlift Group (AFRC)

- 327 Airlift Squadron (C-130H)

- 50 Airlift Squadron (RegAF Associate)

* Plus, a strong rumor that the 50 AS and other TFI units (2 AS, 30 AS and 52 AS) may be short lived.

I'm not sure if this has already been taken into consideration at this point, but the best place to start is the Air Force Almanac, and go from there with up-dated changes like the 122nd switching from A-10s to F-16s and such:

https://www.airforcemag.com/almanacs/Pages/default.aspx

I suppose a more functional version of what the original poster was going for would be to have the link to the current almanac posted, and then have the rest of the threads post changes which have occurred since along with some planned changes. For example: Luke and Hill are now acquiring F-35s and all of the RC-26Bs are being fazed out of the ANG.

AFSOC needs a significant update...

- MC-130Ws are now AC-130Ws

- CV-22s have been at Mildenhall since June 2013

- U-28s now have an operational squadron at Cannon

- NSAv's AD inventory should be PC-12s and DO-328s, Dash-8 and Skytrucks are gone from CVS

So I hear the 2014 almanac is out. I don't see it on the website but apparently it's on the newsstand.

You can order it here for $25:

Anyone know if any stores would carry it? I didn't see it at the BX but then again they don't have anything else either. I'd be interested to see an up to date list, especially for C/MC/HC/AC-130's since it seems like there have been some changes in the last couple years. Trying to get some idea of what the heck I want to do after UPT.

Aww, I remember when I thought I had "choices" and "control over my career". Those were the days!

::single tear::

Unless you're guard/reserve, then Godspeed for being smarter than me!

Alright I took your advice and ordered it. Here's what the almanac has, in case anyone else was curious. Some errors:

There are no more UH-1Hs now that the 6th SOS got out of the rotary-wing FID mission. Hurlburt no longer has any UH-1s.

The UH-1Ns at Eglin moved to Duke Field in 2012.

No HH-60s at Eglin.

HC-130Js are also at Kirtland and Moody with a lot more than 7 airframes.

I'm guessing they got confused because the Test Wing is at Eglin. The 88 TES is at Nellis, however.

Also, there are no longer any HC-130N/P aircraft at DM (haven't been for a while now). And no, AMARG doesn't count.

Wright-Patt has had C-17's since early 2011 (source). What about Memphis? Stewart? Planned: Martinsburg? You'd think for $25 the 2014 edition would be somewhat up to date. I remember grabbing a pile of these things for free at CBM back in '06. I stand by my original assertion. $25. GFY.

Des Moines, IA (132nd) no longer has the F-16, instead they have the MQ-9.

Sioux City, IA (185th) has the KC-135

Both are Guard bases.

Got a reliable rumor that because Hill is getting the F-35, they are sending their F-16's to Whiteman. Anyone else?

Whiteman is slated to get F-16s to replace their A-10s....IF congress allows divestiture of A-10s. Not looking like that will be the case in fy16 according to the markups.
