Guest Fogo Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 So just for fun (and without getting into anyone's gambling habits) whats everyone's pick for the game today? With more spygate stuff coming out this week, part of me says the Pats will come in and win by 4 scores. But I think I'd have to take the Giants to cover the 12 point spread. Either way, not flying tomorrow so its time to enjoy things tonight. When the hell are they going to move something that has reached national holiday status to Saturday night?

Phil Ken Sebben Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Cheering for the Giants but this ain't exactly USA vs. USSR in Hockey. Pats by 21.
Scooter14 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Pats 31-24. It'll be close into the half, I'll say 17-14, then the Pats will take the late lead and hold it. I am on alert, so at least I'll remember this game.
Gravedigger Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 21-17 Giants winning at the half, Pats come back to win it 34-28.

M2 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Looks like the '72 Dolphins still remain the only team with a perfect season... Cheers! M2
Flare Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I'll be different.............Giants, 27-24. Yes, I realize I'm quoting myself, but...... I called the winner and the spread. Go GIANTS!
Vandal Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I wanted the Pats to win, but that had to be one of the best 4th quarters I have ever seen. Oh can't forget that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers kicked ass!
Gravedigger Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 What a freaking catch by Tyree...against the helmet...damn!
brabus Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 What a freaking catch by Tyree...against the helmet...damn! That was awesome. Great 2nd half.
HerkDerka Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 (edited) Well, I was way off. The Giants definitely came to play tonight. That catch was unbelievable. HD Edited February 4, 2008 by HerkDerka
Whitman Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Well, I was way off. The Giants definitely came to play tonight. That catch was unbelievable. HD What about Eli? I've never seen him move like that in the pocket on that play. He made a very athletic move and set himself up for a great pass. Everyone counted him out this year and especially for the playoffs. He played mistake-free football in the last few weeks and that's why they're champs. FWIW, this all coming from a die-hard Cowboys fan.

PapaJu Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Lol at the Pats. Guess the curse of the hot girlfriend hit Brady. Bet she breaks up with him for being a loser now.

Guest Fogo Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Look like Tiki should have stayed with the team. From what I hear; him leaving may have been the reason for their getting over the hump. I don't have a problem with the guy, great player and seems like a good dude and smart guy. Heard a lot of reports about cohesion problems on the past teams though and that he may/may not have been part of it.
HerkDerka Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 What about Eli? I've never seen him move like that in the pocket on that play. He made a very athletic move and set himself up for a great pass. I wouldn't go that far. I call it luck. HD
