I do a drive-by of the site, I see this thread is fresh, and click in, thinking I'm going to be seeing an obituary: Combat Cremation.

Well, a guy can dream, can't he?

Brick, I was thinking the same thing.

He flipped the F out at OTBH over mustaches....and hats. That was a sweet read file.

I completely forgot about that read file. Thought it was a joke the first time I read it.

I just read his bio, he is the typical kind of asshat that active duty loves, who could not be gainfully employed in the real world. His civilian jobs have both ended as gigantic dumpster fires. There are still many like him who don't know how to exist once they pull of base.

I saw Doc jogging up the street today. He was decked out in FULL Air Force PT gear. I'm talking the new stuff, you know, the stuff that came out AFTER he retired, complete with the matching sweatshirt. That means that Doc went to the BX, and forked out his own cash to purchase that crap and wears it of his own free will on his own time.

And when I get of active duty someday I will be burning those sorry excuses for physical training attire.

Was his shirt tucked in?

Pile on: One of the punks once spelled his name wrong on the lineup card, so he cancelled the whole first go for the base and held a pilot meeting about attention to detail.

10% truth? I was flying at aviano that week. I remember the event (last name spelled wrong on the lineup card and he had the #2 locker) but don't recall canceling the first go. I believe he went to the ops desk and said he was not in the mood to fly and jumped on the c-21. Later, he called the WG/CC to complain about the way the 555th did business. From then on he unfortunately flew exclusively with the 510th.

I was deployed the day he retired and Gen Hobbins took over USAFE. I never saw a Doc commercial again on AFN.

Ummmm, deaddebate, are they going to MEB me for uncontrollable vomiting? Edited by Catbox
