Anybody lived in Clovis who can give me a good idea of what the cell phone service situation is out there? I'm looking to get rid of Sprint and maybe get an iphone but when I look at the coverage maps it is less than stellar, considering I'd have to roam on someone else's network (not sure whose). Thoughts?

backseatdriver Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 I have Alltel and have never had a problem getting a signal out there. Unknown if that's due to Alltel's coverage or Verizon's (Alltel piggybacks on Verizon's towers).

We switched from AT&T to Alltel when we found out the assignment to Clovis So I'm gathering it's probably not a smart move to go with the iphone. Thanks for the info, maybe I'll stay with Sprint.
