Guest VETTE277 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I searched quite a bit and didn't come up with anything. I just was diagnosed with mono, and wanted to know if in the next few years it will be any problem with my flight physical to be a AF pilot. Thanks.
Mav09 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 It shouldn't be. I got Mono last November, worst thing in the world. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone lol. My doctor said you can feel the effects from Mono up to a year but it shouldn't hinder your flight physical.
Butters Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Infectious Mono? As opposed to non-infectious Mono? I think if you have Mono you are limited to single seat aircraft, that way you can’t kiss anyone and further spread the disease. In short, unless you die from it, it will not hinder you from passing your flight physical.
