Wing Sweep
160th fly by. I took the pic from the ramp of my plane and zoomed it in as close as I could. One of only a handful of times I flew in the daytime other than at the schoolhouse. It was wierd seeing colors other than green when you fly. [ 02. Guest C-21 Pilot
"Old Russian" Mig 21. Photo was taken at Entebbe, Uganda...These are the only fixed wing airplanes in the Ugandan Air Force. On the day these were taken (30 May 05), the "student" pilot (silver jet) was only 16 years old - and didn't have a drivers license.

Toro
Thread Revival! Got a slide show called "Military Hardware" with a bunch of great pictures from all the services. Right click to download, but here's some samples - Navy Marines Army Air Force pics are the best of the lot - you'll have to download to check them out. disgruntledemployee
September 12th, 2001. It was an early morning flight out to Andrews AFB to lend any assistance we could. It was the quietest flight I've ever had. I snapped this photo as the sun came up over DC. We flew right by the still-smoldering Pentagon and saw the damage first-hand. Techsan
The AF photos are some of the best I've seen. Thanks for that Toro. Here's one for you that I took a couple months ago... Here's another I took...

jango220
Not my pics but I like them. The first two A-10 pics are jets from the 111 FW out of Willow Grove, which is due to have their planes taken away sometime in the next year or so. I've been watching them fly over my house as long as I can remember and they were my motivation to join the Air Force and become a pilot. Sad to think that now as I'm at the start of my Air Force career, these jets will flying low and slow over the Philadelphia area for the final time. And to add to the mix, some classic warbirds from the WW2 Airshow in Reading, PA
