FourFans Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Why is it that everyone except home-grown Americans seem to understand what makes our country great? Is it just me that thinks it's sad that foreigners appreciate American more than Americans do? https://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/11/25/...inge-112508.php Discuss. FF

FF It's difficult to appreciate something that's always been around. The majority of people don't leave the country and see what the world is really like. They just sit in front of CNN or MSNBC and believe whatever they're told. The result is an overwhelming feeling of entitlement. "Gimme, gimme, gimme, and if you don't then I'll sue." You always appreciate things you have to earn and nothing is required for born citizens.
