flyerpapa Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 In today’s world there won’t be another commentator like him. He was the epitome of wisdom. One of my favorites was his lighthearted, yet pragmatic advocacy that the remedy to depression is to lower ones expectations; i.e. if you don’t expect much, you won’t be disappointed. In an effort to sustain a little sanity, I remind myself of that several times every day. God bless him.
slacker Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 A true icon and class act. I'll certainly miss the rest of the story, now page 3.... God speed Mr. Harvey
Stitch Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) Another American Icon makes his fini flight. Godspeed sir you will be missed. Loved how he could work the sponsors into the news stories… “The victim’s car windows were smashed in with a large claw hammer. And if you need a good claw hammer visit your local True Value hardware store…” Edited March 2, 2009 by Stitch
