Guest DBurrell Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Looks like a new naval aviation movie is in the pipeline called "Speed and Angels" ...its a full length documentary and follows two pilots from flight school all the way to their first combat deployment... https://www.umlautfilms.com/site/jess_playe...eed_angels.html Jay's quote is classic :D "whoever thought up the idea of us landing on boats at night is an ASSHOLE...I HATE him" [ 25. Toro Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Thread revival. I checked out this site and put myself on the mailing list for more info. I just got this - I'm Peyton, the director of Speed & Angels. For all of you who have seen and supported the film, we are incredibly grateful for your continued enthusiasm and support. Our project is about to hit a major milestone--getting featured in a store near you. If you believe in this film and its message, your support is now more critical than ever. Although the DVD will be available in retail outlets in three weeks, there are many stores that don't know the film and remain uncertain of its audience. These retailers want to see what real people think and why people might buy Speed & Angels, and the first place they look is Amazon. If you have anything positive to share about the film or why its worthy buying/renting, please tell the world via Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com Fans like you make all the difference in independent, quality films continuing to be made. And maybe together we can make a little indie film history along the way. As always, we are deeply grateful for your support. Warm Regards Peyton Wilson The offical release date for the DVD is September 16th, 2008. Stay tuned for more updates and festival information for your chance to see Speed and Angels on the big screen. https://www.speedandangels.com
Guest r6pilot Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I thought there was another post/thread around here somewhere, but this is the only one that I could find. At any rate, I checked out this site and put myself on the mailing list for more info. I just got this - Re: Speed and Angels This is arriving here today via NetFlix. I'll be sure to report back. It looks like an awesome watch. Here are some of the associated videos for it to whet your appetite. https://www.speedandangels.com (click "video clips", of course)

B52gator Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) The scene where she is doing her dogfight with the saint, you could take the audio and dub it into a porno. Woof. Edited March 11, 2009 by b52gator
08Dawg Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Just watched it yesterday on hulu. Not bad for a Navy movie.

Marjackson82 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Whilst on the subject of aviation movies, I remember watching a movie about a kiowa pilot. Anyone know of anything like that?
Marjackson82 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 You don't mean Firebirds, do you? Yep, thanks. For some reason I had kiowas in my mind.
Guest OldAssGRunt Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Yep, thanks. For some reason I had kiowas in my mind. that was Sean Young flying the kiowa ... back when she was still kind of hot
SUX Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 The scene where she is doing her dogfight with the saint, you could take the audio and dub it into a porno. Woof. What about the scene showing her first launch off of a carrier around 36-37 minutes into it. The girl Meagan sounds like she has an orgasm.
Stuck Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Sean Young was a babe in Blade Runner with her 80's hair... of the future. Cheers! -Stuck
BattleRattle Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Pretty enjoyable... a little less than the IMAX "Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag" imho.
Spoo Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Sean Young was a babe in Blade Runner with her 80's hair... of the future. Cheers! -Stuck Dude, that's funny. Well done.
