Approach charts for OTBH

Hello,

This may seem like an odd request, but I am looking for approach charts for OTBH (Al Udeid) if possible. I am doing a simulated flight from ETAR to OTBH, and I typically get my charts from Navigraph, but they only have charts for OTBD.

Does anyone know of any online alternatives to Jeppesen? I don't mind payware if it is reasonably priced.

Thank you,

I think you're barking up the wrong tree, pal. If you can't get them through public sources, don't expect anyone here to hand them out either.

Sounds like a great question for your squadron's stan/eval shop...at least, that's who's in charge of the flight pubs where I'm from.

I don't think he has a stan/eval shop.

From the Navigraph website:

Company Presentation

The aim for Navigraph is to provide the international flight simulation community with tools and software like those available to the aviation industry.

I didn't get the impression that he works for Navigraph...in any case, he's probably SOL without a .mil account if that's true.

I know of a couple guys who make some bank selling outdated Jepp changes from our airline to MS flight sim folks.

Wow. So when we update our pubs here in a bit, I can just sell the old pubs on ebay. Interesting!

Dude,

If you want to simulate going to OTBH, buy yourself a reflective belt and some croc sandals, read and then pay someone a healthy salary with benefits to bitch you out about how you wear said reflective belt and sandals.

OTBH approaches are DoD approaches, and as such are released through NGA. If you have a .mil email account you can get electronic access through the NGA portal. If not, you're probably SOL. If Jeppesen makes copies of OTBH approaches, they probably wouldn't just give you some (or sell you some).

Honestly dude, you're not missing much. Think of every other ILS you've ever flown, it's pretty much the same.

If you really want an accurate simulation, be sure to give yourself short vectors onto final as well.

Simulated flight from ETAR to OTBH? Sounds like a vUSAF mission to me.

No, I think it is a simulated virtual flight. They don't want to waste vUSAF server time training for actual simulated missions, so they are simulating them instead.

Now if only we could do PME the same way.

Maybe that works for you C-17 guys..."10 board, 150...9 board, 20".

He was referring to High Speed below 10,000 ft. Can 130s even exceed 250 kts?

I apologize if I was wrong being a civilian and asking for approach charts to a military base.

The purpose was for a simulated cargo flight from ETAR to OTBH for Globe Cargo.

I appreciate the input, and I thank all of you who serve.

Thank You,
