Anyone else reporting to Laughlin in December?

Hey out there-

I'm a SUPT select 2nd Lt. heading to Laughlin on December 18th to EAD and start casual duty. I went to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and am the only one in my class going to pilot training, so I don't know anyone else who's reporting there around the same time. I'd like to find a roommate in order to get a duplex house, so if anyone reading this is going to Del Rio in December too, let me know, and maybe we can set up a nice bachelor pad. Thanks.

I have a friend who just got there and from what I hear you'll be staying on base so no need for a roommate.

There is the option of living in the UOQ, which is nice and recently renovated, but the housing guy said in order to live in a duplex house you have to know someone else to live with. I don't know anyone, and a house would be nice, hence the post.

If you can't find anyone, just move into the UOQ for a few days/week until you get to know some guys and ask around then!

The guy seemed pretty adamant about not switching people to houses later on, but it's not a big deal. I'm not picky, but a house would definitely be nice. I figured this couldn't hurt.
