Sad to hear about the doorman. Hope the four women pull through! :flag_waving:

So this a-hole screams "white power" while shooting away, and then shoots himself. Fuck him! Either that was the first thing he thought of when going on this rampage, or another radical rightist blew a couple of fuses. What were the races of the poor folks he shot? Just curious...

Why do we have to identify people this extreme by "right" or "left"? Can't we just call them what they are: crazed, deranged idiots?

Because there's different flavors of crazy and identifying them can help law enforcement figure out who else might be connected/targeted. Plus the media loves making everything political, that's probably the real answer.

Here's the current news on the shooting. link

Summary:

Young male gunman shoots up a bookstore wounding four females, including 2 AF SSgt's. He then goes to a local bar/club and kills the bouncer. He then barricades himself in an apartment and kills himself.

Thoughts and prayers for the victims, especially fellow Airmen who were in a place I've spent lots of time at the wrong random time.

Well, that makes sense for a white supremacist. The only two people who died were white (shooter and bouncer)...[/sarcasm] :bash:

In all seriousness though, thoughts & prayers to the AF folks who were assaulted in this unprovoked attack.
