62nd updates at The Rock

Anyone know how behind the 62nd is at LR? When I went for PIQ I graduated 2.5 months late due to those shitty E models. I may be heading that way for the full MPD PCO checkout. Any updates would be greatly appreciated.

I believe they're currently on schedule. I just finished PIQ 5 days early. Minimal breaks and wx cancel, but not too bad. Other guys have had a rougher time but they should be done on time. Of course that'll probably change by the time I finish typing this.

AFRC involvement in the 62nd is part of the FY11 defense authorization Congress is currently reviewing (already passed by the House). AFRC will move pretty quickly on this and will have to actively recruit (approx 220 aircrew total) in order to meet timelines. There may be opportunities for qualified C-130 dudes in the near future.
