Guest T-6 Pilot Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Looking for a reputable company to get some artwork done on the visor cover. Suggestions.
Guest C17Wes Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Rama World here is Riverside does them. www.ramaworld.com
HuggyU2 Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 We get ours at New Embroidery, outside the gate at Osan,...
Hacker Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 e-Snacko does 'em, too. My squadron just had them do a run for everyone last month.
brabus Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Darkhorse Leather in Osan does a great job. Not sure what their online order ability is, but worth a look into it...or if you know someone in Korea who's willing to make an order for you guys and ship it.

No online ordering (as of 2 months ago). We just e-mail'd our orders to them. I have some contact info around here somewhere if anyone wants it.
flyOH Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I have a snacko related question. Does anyone know where to order the steins that have the chick's body instead of the normal handle? I'm looking to order some for the squadron but can't find them anywhere. Thanks.

ClearedHot Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 e-Snacko does 'em, too. My squadron just had them do a run for everyone last month. I sent Esnacko a note last night and they replied that they do not do visor covers.

Cap-10 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Another push for https://www.snackostuff.com/ ....it's owned/operated by an F-15E WSO....they only hiring military dependents...products are good quality too. Turn around time is also nice: As a mayor, I would order 24 nametags (B-course naming) on a Monday afternoon, and I could pick them up Friday morning....Mardon would never achieve that! Cheers, Cap-10

Cheers, Cap-10 How do the HMCS visor covers hold up? Pretty good to prevent scratches and do they stay attached with only the elastic band holding them on? Thanks Sledy
isuguy1234 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Royal bag in korea is good too, I used em several times as a snacko and their visor covers were just as good, if not better than dark horse. https://royalbag.kr/ Send an email to webmaster@royal-bag.com sayin what you want and they should be able to help you. The website is basically useless. They do helmet bags too with jet and callsign options, might be able to work a combo deal with em.

Slander Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Yup, concur with the above. My visor covers are fine, I got them made by royal bag but plenty of bros got theirs at dark horse. I need darkhorse's email for a different project.
mcbush Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Couldn't find a better thread to put this in, but I'm looking to pick up a display case for a flag to be given as a gift. Any gouge on good quality manufacturers out there?
drewpey Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Have you checked your base wood/hobby shop? They usually have a good selection of shadow boxes and flag cases for sale.

Any gouge on good quality manufacturers out there? Agree with the wood hobby shop recommendation. Every base I've been to that had one has always had something available. A lot of the guys that work in them have lots of different ways they've tinkered with the basic idea and it's not hard or overly expensive to get something customized.
mcbush Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Good info, not sure how I hadn't thought of that. Thanks gents.

Cheers, Cap-10 3 My UPT class ordered our nametags through these guys and they were friendly, fast, and cheap! I'd definitely use them again 1
