Pancake Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 ....it's a sad day for the Air Force, we lost a cold blooded killer....but the pilot's Ok so that's good. I looked through some old pictures and found a few shots of 963 in her glory. Ahh, the memories... Good post, Hoss.
M2 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Spang has released the name of the pilot... The pilot, Lt. Col. Scott Hurrelbrink from the 81st Fighter Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, ejected from the aircraft and sustained minor injuries. He was transported from the scene and is in good condition at Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Bruder, a hospital in Trier, Germany. Probably a bit too much information; but the good news is that he's OK!
