Kikuchiyo Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Anyone still waiting to hear about their assignments? Particularly people waiting in the bomber community? I heard they were behind. Bomber community assignments are way behind, cause your only assignments officer is deployed. One of the other guys is trying to pick up the slack, but he's got his own community to handle while also covering the duties of another deployed guy in a different branch, too. Sound familiar?

Kikuchiyo Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 You can go thru the normal methods of contacting your AO at AFPC. It won't tick them off, but it will slow them down if everyone does. It's like being in line at the store when there's not enough checkers, they can only go so fast.

I'm guessing it isn't set up correctly yet. Did you submit an access request? sqwatch Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Who knows, but AFPC shenanigans aside, I've never had the rip not reflect the email they send the bosses. My guess is the porch guy is swamped. I do not envy his job, especially being understaffed in a time when more people are 7day opting than usual. I imagine his job as being something like putting together a 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle, and right when you are about 69 pieces away from having a completed product, your drunk cousin stumbles in, knocks over the table and you're back to square one.

FIRE them... announce it... bring in a new AFPC leadership team... give them 15 months to have significant improvements with the understanding that they will go places if they do... or be asked to leave if they don't.
