Nice post chucklehead, got a little man complex?

Each program has the own difficulties but rippin on UNT to make yourself feel superior is pretty pathetic...

Dude - get the facts.

Since about 2002, few, if ANY UPT washouts have gone through UNT.

CAPS LOCK - OFF.

I don't know if he is yelling at me or just isn't smart enough to let that shift button go.

And honestly, no one is comparing the two. That is like saying folks who go Tones are inferior to those who go T38's... besides, you shouldn't pick on us poor nav students

Thanks Chuck, beat me to it. But I agree, I have only met a few (maybe one) former UPT-types.

I haven't heard of anyone claiming UNT is harder than UPT. Barney tends to...get things a little mixed up, exagerate a lot, and type a lot on this forum. I'll add that he isn't even in Nav training yet, just casual here.

As far as UPT washouts keeping us stocked, umm, No. We have one guy out of 25 in our class. That's not exactly "STOCKED". He's a quality guy, and if it weren't for a couple rough rides in Tweets he'd probably still be there. I've only heard of a couple other previous-UPT guys.

BTW, Telephone Tough-Guy, I like how you've really taken the AF Offical Message format to heart - all CAPS and annoying. Hope you lighten up. Good luck.

I know two UPT washout guys down at Pensacola right now... I wouldn't say they're everywhere, but they're out there.

But put that in contrast to the what hero with the sticky shift key said:

" AS A MATTER OF FACT UPT WASHOUTS KEEP UNT CLASSES STOCKED WITH STUDENTS"

Just a little difference.

For the record...wash out of UPT and get to go to Strike Eagles or Bones? Poor guys.

I literally know no one who washed out of UPT down here at Randolph and I graduate Friday. I'm not saying they're not here, but stocked? No. I do know this...you're full of shlt.

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT!

There's a guy in my nav class who washed out of T-38's, just six weeks shy of graduation. I'm sure he's not the only one.

(By the way, he's a zoomie...a ROTC kid woulda gotten force-shaped)

For the record there were at least 5 guys in Pcola that I personally knew that washed out of UPT. It was not that uncommon.

This thread is going nowhere fast.

Fact: There have been people that have washed UPT and then gone to UNT.

How many? Who cares. Move on to something worth talking about.

I've met a guy who didn't score well enough on the UPT entrance exam to get into UPT.

He was a Nav for several years.

He then got a shot at UPT and he kicked ass in combat and as a civilian pilot.

His name is Dick Rutan ...maybe you heard of him?
