I thought that article was interesting, but my jadedness couldn’t help but muster a lukewarm “meh”. All these bleeding heart articles and “Dear Boss” letters just seem like more noise shouted into the void. Maybe it’s just me.

Wow. Is that real? I thought people were the mission. With attitudes like that....well I feel even less motivated to care about the military. Especially with fingers goldfien in charge.

I think it has more to do with yesterday’s leaders picking HPOs who conform to their norms, who in turn are not necessarily the best equipped to lead their peers and subordinates.

Housing Management Office, WG/CC, and his Command Chief not giving one shit about BAH. Even after someone filed a congressional inquiry. Leadership: "We feel as though the BAH levels are appropriate." They don't live off base. If GS civilians in the HMO office are complacent, then what good are they?
