So, can anybody answer these questions? Who was the pilot? How did he/she crash? What squadron was the pilot in? Where exactly did the jet crash at? Were there any outside influences that caused the crash?

He just didn't want to sit through the inquisition (debreif) with his patch wingman. Fortunately, he remembered his wife and kids a split second before reaching controlled bailout altitude and pulled the handles.
