Alpharatz Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Fairly long article about the rise of China. Starting to look like the MFWIC's could be on the right track avoiding more disasters in the sandbox and looking at China as a real threat. Might be that 10-15 years down the line we may need the fancy yet expensive...stealthy...software intensive...able to go drone in a flash....recoverable on a carrier in a pinch? like the F-22 and the F-35. Not to forget the NEW TANKER. Nice to have some words out of the University of Chicago
Alpharatz Posted February 19, 2012 Author Posted February 19, 2012 No link & Incoherent post. Well, find the magazine at the library and read the article. You'll be OK...there's no test
Flatley Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 But guys, when we argue, China wins. If anyone actually gives a shit: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2012/01/why-john-j-mearsheimer-is-right-about-some-things/8839/
Agent P Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/02/why-china-isnt-winning-american-higher-ed-is-still-much-much-better/253183/ Nevermind. Found it. Well written. 2 Excellent article... I think his approach has about a snowball's chance in hell of ever being overtly practiced by the USA (realistic and unapologeticly focused on our interests foreign policy) but one can hope...
