HuggyU2 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Holy shit, they use a lot of exclamation points in their emails!!!!!!!!!!! I can hear the excitement in their typing-voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ThreeHoler Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 Apparently their professional development advice does not include the 3 exclamation point limit per OPR comment block. 1
BQZip01 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Coneheads (quite a literal term in her case) get combat readiness medals, eh? Interesting... Why not?
Techsan Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Just got this gem blasted to me from the CGO All distro email......3000 hrs of "professional development"......ugh......and planning for a conference that will probably get cancelled again...sweet! I wonder if that guy is going to set up a FGOC now?
Hacker Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I wonder if that guy is going to set up a FGOC now? Or an LCPA in the squadron.
Spur38 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 3000 hrs of "professional development"...... Are they awarded Air Medals for this?
sweet I'm SOF Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Buckets of self-importance found here. Leadership advice from Lts, and a "good idea" of starting an FTAC for officers. Pure brilliance. I remember realizing that this organization existed on the base I think when I was a senior captain. I cannot really explain why it took me that long to comprehend that it existed. I haven't really thought about it since, until this thread. Looking at that link, it appears pretty rough - on the verge of unbelievable. I've never been to a meeting, so maybe my initial flinch is a bit harsh. Reminds me of Arnold Air Society. At the risk of sounding even more naive and disregarding the self-identifying one-off transgressions that have been admitted thusfar on this forum, do aircrew partake in this organization?
dream big Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 At the risk of sounding even more naive and disregarding the self-identifying one-off transgressions that have been admitted thusfar on this forum, do aircrew partake in this organization? Only when they are voluntold to...

amcflyboy Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 The hits keep on coming.... It's worldwide! Who's in!?!? How about I just first!
Dubs Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 The two-week sports and recreation competition includes both team and individual events 1) Do people have to take leave to participate in this? 2) If not, why the hell not?? I have to take leave just to have enough time to write a paper or take a stupid f*cking test for my worthless master's degree... 3) An EFSS has time to participate in a 2 week fun and games exchange? Fitness superstars Ugh...
Boxhead Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Who's in!?!? Only in there is a Hot Dog Eating Contest.
Kilgore Trout Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Only in there is a Hot Dog Eating Contest. Since it's from the CGOC, an expeditionary one at that, you can guarantee that some hot dogs are being chugged.
ThreeHoler Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 I have to take leave just to have enough time to write a paper or take a stupid f*cking test for my worthless master's degree... You're doing it wrong. 2
Dubs Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 You're doing it wrong. Thanks for the heads up. Let me go ahead and put "Changing the system" at the top of my To-Do list so I can then do it right.
