Guest BoxerCLC Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I've read in earlier posts that there are interservice transfers for winged aviators. But if they didn't already fly fighters, their only hopes were heavys and helos. But, is it possible for an interservice transfer from let's say, a non-pilot Coast Guard officer with 3 years, end of commitment, to transfer to the Air Force and go to UPT and not be limited to what aircraft he/she can select?? any info would be great.
Guest Walter_Sobchak Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 I know it's possible and have seen it happen with an Army infantry Captain crossing over and going to UPT. I don't know the specifics on how the transfer works, but try the AFPC website and whatever the USCG equivalent is (CG BUPERS?)
