My first concert was the summer of '86- Beastie Boys opening up for Run DMC. I had never heard of the Beastie Boys prior to that night (Licensed to Ill was just hitting the stores) but left a lifelong fan.

Those guys, MCA in particular, we're pioneers in changing the face of 'rap/rock' at that time. Techsan is right, HS and college wouldn't have been the same without the Beastie Boys.
