#1 on my bucket list has been to drink an Arnold Palmer WITH Arnold Palmer.

So where do you catch a Space A hop to do that?

No need for Space A, if you are gonna dream just have the man come pick you up.

Yeah, you've pretty much made it when you can claim that you own a gulfstream with your initials in the tail number.

If it's not too late for you, I would suggest finding a girl who works for the airlines...that's what I did. Makes your possibilities nearly endless. Space A on a 767 with lay flat seats and unlimited free drinks is much better than anything the military has to offer as well. Since that's probably not an option for you in the near term, I would pick Germany unless you've already been.

Edit to add: I just say Germany because you can probably actually get there Space A then hop the trains to get to other cool places in Europe.

He is the spokesman for Citation, so that is what is in the picture.

Citation X.

Headed on probable space-A misadventure late this Summer with a lot of leave to burn. Anyone have anything interesting on their bucket list or good ideas? Cool places to see?

I've had decent luck with both BWI and Andrews as a starting point, gets you over to Ramstein. From there its an incredibly easy shuttle to the Frankfurt airport, from that point anywhere in Europe is within reach.

Arnold Palmer's jet has nothing on Greg Norman's yacht. Comes equipped with not one, but two other boats inside. Also has been retrofitted with a helo and helo pad recently.

Kinda sorta related: Read in Flying Magazine years ago that some big shoe company 'bought' the tail number of some guys sailplane. Turns out the reg number was November One Kilo Echo. Guess they made it...

But for $10M does that Ciation come with drinkholders on the flightdeck when you're having that Arnold Palmer with the man himself at FL300?

There's also a DB station in Kaiserslautern that makes getting places pretty easy.

Plenty of lovely women for a single man in Thailand...

Yeah I say skip Asia and hit France and the cemeteries around Normandy and then a day trip down to Le Mont St Michel. If there is a little fog it is even more impressive as you drive towards it. A little island (actually connected by a causeway) that appears to rise right up out of the sea. Not much to actually see there (other than the monastery/church and some touristy stuff) but it is pretty cool to see the place appear to float on the sea when driving towards it. If the tide is out it’s surrounded by sea bottom/sand/mud but when the tide is in you get the floating effect.

The cemeteries around Normandy and Le Mont St Michel were on my bucket list and I finally did them 3 years ago. An excellent trip.

Hang out with some hooligans causing trouble during the Olympics in London. Take the Chunnel to France. Get thrown out of a casino in Monte Carlo. Climb Mt. Etna when smoke is coming out of the top. Get a huge bottle of ouzo and watch the meltdown of the cradle of civilization in Athens (sit near the window if you feel lucky). Strudel with cream sauce outside in Berlin. Go skiing in Dubai. Thailand has already been covered by others. Apply same logic to Phillippines. Spit on the street in Singpore and see if anyone notices. Buy a suit in Hong Kong. Go to an Apple factory in China. Eat kimchi chigae and drink 4 bottles of soju in Seoul--then go to noraebang and sing the Flintsones song. Ride the subway in Tokyo. Go to Giovanni's shrimp truck on the North Shore---Matsumoto's shave ice for dessert---get the beans for a topping---trust me. Wrap it up with salmon and halibut fishing in Alaska--insist that your 100LB fish cooler wrapped with duct tape is a carry on.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
