As opposed to McKaching, she was the first female fighter pilot to go through the weapons school and there was absolutely zero fanfare about it. No one was the least bit concerned when she was selected and there was never a concern when she was a student. She took her lumps just like anyone else. Just another fighter pilot/student and the last person looking for an advantage because she was a chick.
