Another First: First Latina to graduate from UPT

Granted, this occurred awhile ago, but it was on FoxNews.com today; it seemed to fit with the trend of recent firsts getting mentioned in the press.

The article doesn't specifically mention what year she graduated from UPT, but considering she has already retired as a Lt Col and has over 11,000+ commercial hours, it happened a while ago.

If not that, then maybe this nugget...

She immediately tried to participate in the university’s ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program but was told women were not allowed.

Or the fact that it talks about her going to the 'CBPO.'

Regardless, props to her, she did well!
