The article doesn't specifically mention what year she graduated from UPT, but considering she has already retired as a Lt Col and has over 11,000+ commercial hours, it happened a while ago.

I'm more surprised that there hasn't been one to graduate up until this point.

If not that, then maybe this nugget...

She immediately tried to participate in the university’s ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program but was told women were not allowed.

Or the fact that it talks about her going to the 'CBPO.'

Regardless, props to her, she did well!

Well, now that they can add 'gay' in front of every minority there is; that opens up a whole new list now, doesn't it?!?
