My first Command Chief at Robins was an Enlisted Aide for 2/3rds of her career. Her EPR's were pretty much bullshit, however they were signed by 3-4 Star GO rater.

Best part -

An enlisted aide is not a maid, cook or butler, but some of their tasks consist of administrative duties, culinary skills, property and grounds maintenance, entertainment, uniform care and supporting the general on temporary duty. These duties enable enlisted aides in earning advanced certifications in household management and culinary arts.

They're also usually flaming assholes with demands far beyond their station.

Any guesses how many members of TIB have this kind of douche-nozzle pedigree?

Seems par for the course for someone who spends years in the military without doing anything moderately military related.

Might be a repost, but I don't care. Allegedly the following was snuck into a Navy flag officer's sexual assault prevention brief...

As a 2Lt? Pretty quick turnaround...

Totally normal timeline for a FAIP. All Sheppard PIT is done in house.

Also, this never would have happened if the AF had contracted an actual athletic wear company (Asics, UA, Nike, etc...) to make the PT gear by adding the AF symbol to a proven product.

This makes no logical sense whatsoever, but could have been used as an excuse to have far better PT wear than the craptastic shit we have now. Therefore: valid!

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel ordered the four services to find new ways to “improve safety and reduce the risks posed by alcohol” and prepare an “implementation plan” no later than Nov. 1, according to a May 1 memo

On base, the services can consider measures such as restricting the time window for selling alcohol, discouraging happy-hour drink specials that lead to binge drinking and requiring bar and restaurant staffers to undergo training in how to identify and intervene in situations that appear to pose a high risk for sexual assault.

Off base, installation commanders could work with local bar owners and liquor stores to expand similar efforts.
