Looks like a high school newspaper wrote the article, but glad the pilot got out ok.

Glad he made it out safe. Also, apparently the Marines are a corporation (corp.) now instead of a corps.

Pretty familiar with the Owens Valley, use to do a lot of camping in the Sierra's. Desolate is an understatement, but definitely a good training area. It's also near China Lake where rescue efforts could have occurred. Glad the pilot is ok.
