Bishop Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Jesus.. stupid shit I said on here years ago always comes back to haunt me.. my guess is he is in the starting stages of undermining that tops in blue forum someone posted a while ago
HeloDude Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 26 Jul 05'! Damn! That was definitely a while ago. Don't worry, just take after our politicians and deny, sidetrack, and then deny again. Repeat if necessary. Back on subject--I've been missing Rainman as well. And as of 20 Sep 11', "It's ok now".
Danger41 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Who cares about Rainman, where is Masshole?
HuggyU2 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) Until his return, let's reflect on some of his flight planning wisdom. RE: the Tampa A/O... I have to disagree with the "open a tab with your credit card" plan. Always use cash. The credit card documents your evening itinerary... and eventually it will be used against you. The credit card documents your evening itinerary... and eventually it will be used against you. That's the entry level technique. The discreet gentleman doesn't withdraw from the ATM, he makes purchases with a debit card and gets cash back spread over time so as to not invite unwanted queries from his spouse. 2
HuggyU2 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 A real man isn't concerned about "inquires from his spouse". 3
Droopy Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 A real man isn't concerned about using his government travel card at the OG either... :-)
Stitch Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 A real man isn't concerned about using his government travel card at the OG either... :-) Huh? Ummmm, OK...
Prozac Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I have to disagree with the "open a tab with your credit card" plan. Always use cash. The credit card documents your evening itinerary... and eventually it will be used against you. I can personally attest that this is true. I usually brief this before a TDY along with banning the use of cameras or recording devices of any kind.

Spoo Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I hated resorting to the nuclear option, but no I didn't.

Because eventually you will have to call USAA in the lobby of your hotel the next morning because your credit card declined due to "suspicious activity" from various establishments the night before...and a fraud alert message may or may not call your house for your wife to hear...not that I've ever heard of this happening.
Wolf424 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 That damn ATM at the Viking.... Luckily there is no annual Boat Driving requirement. Only needs to be logged once and you are MR for life. But seriously...where the hell is Rainman?

C-21.Pilot Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Isn't BaseOps.net for heterosexuals.....that could be why he's MIA.
Champ Kind Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Didn't he say posting on BODN wasn't no puss game...or something? Shame.
matmacwc Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 Now you guys are getting it, shame him to return. I think he ran off with BQZips Dad.
Prozac Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an outdated platform that cannot be replaced soon enough by the F-35. 1
SocialD Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 The Viper is clearly a much more capable CAS platform, than the Hog...no one can argue that! ...oh and helo pilots are pussies!
Gravedigger Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) I heard him say that he would have been much happier had he gotten a few more key staff positions. He's also pissed he was never a force support or MSG commander. He also worked less than finance because he was usually out doing formation pt, wearing a reflective belt of course. In all honesty, he's on sabbatical with PYB in France. Edited March 4, 2013 by Gravedigger
