Prozac Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Jokes aside, it appears they still build tough ass airplanes.
Stitch Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Jokes aside, it appears they still build tough ass airplanes. Ahhhh 737ski. Is good jet, no?
Snooter Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Pilot spilled his vodka on short final leading to unstable approach...
amcflyboy Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Ahh yes, the Sukhoi Regional Jets or SRJ's that everyone in the cockpit is talking about. They're competing directly with the Mitsubishi Regional Jets or MRJ's! Fan-fooking-tastic.
Prozac Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 I don't think this incident had anything to do with design flaws in the aircraft unless the Russians somehow decided to omit a gear warning system. Initial reports point to crew error. Kudos to Sukhoi for building an airframe that, despite whatever other shortcomings it may have, can absorb a gear up landing nearly as well as a T-37.
SocialD Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Ahhhh 737ski. Is good jet, no? Yes...wait, no? Embrear 175/195ski. Sukhois shot at the MRJ market.
