Anybody have first hand experience with a reputable car shop in/around Tucson? My wife is driving our older car across the country next week so I went to change the brakes/rotors and found that one of the retaining screws on her front drivers side rotor was sheared off inside the spindle. Trying to get a reasonable priced repair in a short timeframe.

If you're on or around the NW side, the Firestone at Ina/Thornydale does outstanding work and is very thorough and honest. Only place I take both my personal as well as my fleet vehicles.

If you're in another part of town, I may know a couple places in various areas that may work.

SE side. I remembered the place that checked out my Acura before I sold it and brought it to them. Accurate Automotive near Broadway and Pantano. I'll put up a review when they're done.

See, that's what I thought too. But I feel like there's extra play in that brake. Maybe not. Too late meow though, mechanic is drilling out the screw.

I took it to Accurate Automotive near 22nd (earlier I said Broadway, my bad) and Pantano. They charged me $90 to put my car on a lift, take the tire and brake assembly off, remove the rotor, drill out the busted screw, and re-install rotor, brake assembly, and tire. I don't think that's too bad of a price since all my tools/garage stuff was packed up.
