It looks like the Alaska ANG will be accepting applications soon! HH-60's, HC-130s, C-17s, and KC-135s--lots of cool missions and platforms.

They usually post their positions on BogiDope, too, so I'm sure we'll see those pop-up soon. Best of luck to all who apply!

Can anyone confirm if they've heard anything from Oregon regarding interview invites?
I had expected to hear by now but would assume invites have already been sent out.

I haven’t either. Sent an email asking about it last week and haven’t heard anything back yet from that either.

I have not heard back from either.  Got a TBNT from Tulsa though.

Nothing from DC either.

And still no confirmation of receipt from the 100th, but my video submission gained a few views so I guess that’s confirmation enough?

For anyone that may still be wondering, Oregon updated their website this morning with this:

"Thank you for your interest in the Oregon Air National Guard.  The invitations for the 2022 Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) Selection Board have been sent.  If you did not receive an invite, our next application window will open in December of 2022."

Best of luck to those invited. Also got an email from DC this morning with this:

"First round interview notifications will be sent out in April and will be conducted remotely. Second round interviews will take place in-person at JB Andrews – tentatively scheduled for May 13-15."

Anyone know about the Hawaii ANG? When do they usually have their board? Will this one be rated or UPT? I can't seem to find anything regarding their boards. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places?

There will be a UPT board this year, typically it is announced in May on the HIANG recruiting facebook page with applications due by July

Hello gents, are unsponsored boards still a thing in the AF Reserves?

@Regional Pilot I don't have any experience with it brother, but did a little digging here on the forum and most recent I could find was this:

The AFRC UFT Guidebook does not mention going unsponsored so it seems like, for the time being at least as best as I can deduce from admittedly limited information, it's not a thing.

On a different topic: Anybody hear anything back from the 100th FS or the 121st FS yet re: interviews? I know it's still early in April, but I figured as I'd ask since I'm already posting. Thanks for any gouge y'all may have!

From what I recall they stopped doing unsponsored boards a few years ago.

No word yet from the 121st.

Question for the older applicants, are you all still applying regardless of their age limit? I haven’t, but a Guard guy told me to apply regardless and at least try? Don’t wanna piss them off and apply when I’m over 30 and some squadrons list below 30 only.
