Tonka Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 No words on the pilot yet...? Hopefully the Navy didn't buy cheap beacons like the AF. Here's hoping for the best.
Beaver Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 He was a good friend of one of my bros. Family was notified that remains were found. He left behind 4 kids, I think.

Cap-10 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Brabus, The Rats/AWCF are already in contact with the MAG-12 CO and as soon as we get the "go" from the wife, I can officially post the donation info. Cap-10
Swanee Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Link to another press release. https://usmclife.com/2014/03/usmc-pilot-named-died-nevada-fa-18-accident/ Eeyore was an all around good dude. I know the Rats/AWCF are also setting something up but there is a link on that page to another memorial fund that supports his family. Fair winds and following seas brother.
