Charleston Ties with Altus? Yeah because a base with beaches and a big city is equivilant to a four stoplight town with a walmart and McDs in the middle of nowhere.

What were these guys smoking to come up with this, cause it has to be some good stuff.

The "AF Times" Facebook page is responding on JQP's Page, the insight they provide is even more confusing.

I'm pretty sure they don't understand their own data or method, whoever is replying.

Now we know what that blinded folded monkey throwing darts for VSP approvals does on the side when AFPC doesn't need him: works in research for AF Times.

With the expertise and accuracy of the list I am surprised Walker AFB was not on there...

or Burpelson AFB

I really enjoyed living at Wurtsmith AFB as a kid. I'd put it up there on the list - I think housing is dirt cheap in Oscoda Michigan these days.

Burpelson AFB was not included on the list because it lost points for having flourine contaminating the base residents bodily fluids.

Cannon isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but it is pretty miserable. The only halfway decent thing about it is the people. You have to drive at least a couple hours to eat or do anything decent. I would take pretty much any base in the States other than Minot over Cannon.

That's also the only thing that made Altus tolerable for me. I had great leadership and was in a great Sq. However that's always subject to change with people PCSing.
