rancormac Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) I have a bunch of issued uniform items that I either never used, were the wrong size, etc. Along with about 2 pairs of brand new boots I bought years ago that just don't fit right. I could try to sell them but I dont have the boxes still. Not looking to make a profit, just wanting to get them out of my possession. Obviously dumping them off at my local goodwill is not an option. Are there places it is OK to donate these to, on base? Edited September 9, 2014 by rancormac
rancormac Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 Ahh.. didn't know this existed. Excellent. Open limited hours, but it looks like the right resource. Thanks.
hispeed7721 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Airmans attic is where I take EVERYTHING, not just uniforms. I like to donate to my own airman than to give to Goodwill/Salvation Army (not knocking those at all) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Everything from clothing to cribs and toys, etc.
Jughead Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Civil Air Patrol or any ROTC / JROTC unit would also love to have them. Pro tip: CAP is a 501© (correct term?), so you can deduct your donations thereto....
ARIs 'R' Us Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 When I lived in Germany I'd just take them to the German thrift store. For some reason the locals loved our uniforms... Posted from the NEW Baseops.net App!
