A few questions regarding the rotary wing world. Firstly, does the 23d Sq have their full complement of TH-1H aircraft at Ft Rucker? Lastly, must ALL AF CV-22A pilots attend the Helo pipeline?

To your second point, which may not apply as you're asking about initial qual via pipeline, but there have been cross flow pilots from C-130s to CV-22s.

Right now, most initial quals do not come from Rucker.

Yes and no. I don't know if they have gotten the last couple aircraft but all of the training is now in the TH-1Hs. The 23rd has the only program in the entire 58 SOW that finishes students on time.

Both T-1s and T-38s are dropping CV-22s. They actually shut off the Rucker CV drops for a while but that was short lived.

What Breckey said. Also, now that NAS Whiting Field is closed, its the most fun you can have in UPT, not that you should base any career choices on that.

I haven't kept up on the drops from Rucker, but a lot of CV-22s lately have been from fixed-wing tracks.

As far as I know, all the TH-1Hs are at Rucker.
