dvlax40 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I'm just a civilian chick with 95 pilot, 94 pcsm, and 100-something hours. We'll see how this goes... humble 1
Dawguard Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Speaking of ENJJPT, has anyone received an email from AFPC asking if they were a volunteer for it? The email also specifically stated no UPT selection decision had been made, even though it was sent after the board, which seemed weird.
flyingbimmer Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I've heard of someone getting that email, but I have not received it.
Spaceballs Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) I haven't even heard of that email. Is it just asking if you want to compete for enjjpt? Edit: Do we even have the option to volunteer for enjjpt since the current 215 combined upt and enjjpt? Edited March 8, 2015 by Spaceballs
Dawguard Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) I haven't even heard of that email. Is it just asking if you want to compete for enjjpt? Edit: Do we even have the option to volunteer for enjjpt since the current 215 combined upt and enjjpt? It was very vague, it asked if I was/was not a volunteer for enjjpt and stated that a response either way wouldn't effect chances of being picked up for UPT; which seems like something they would have asked before the 215 put combined them. As far as I'm aware you couldn't not apply for ENJJPT on the new one. Edited March 8, 2015 by Dawguard
Spaceballs Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 That's my understanding as well. Since that came out after the board, I would assume they're wanting to make sure the top packages want to do enjjpt since people don't have the option to not choose it.

carminsandiego Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 alright fellas... taking bets on when the results will be released. 3/19, Bob!
Spaceballs Posted March 9, 2015 Author Posted March 9, 2015 I'll say 3/20 to hopefully be pleasantly surprised it's earlier.
Dawguard Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I'll say 3/20 to hopefully be pleasantly surprised it's earlier. Seconded; expecting anything earlier from AFPC is probably a good way to get let down.
Dawguard Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I was just told 3/27 :/ Confirm that's for the OTS board?
Yossarian1234 Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Affirmative. I heard 3/27 for the OTS board
Cavok Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Any word on the AD board? Really trying to push-off my current assignment out-processing if I'm going to get picked up here..
Spaceballs Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 I haven't heard of the results release yet.
flyingbimmer Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 The results are being pushed to the end of the month to ensure we receive the news with adequate mustaches.
carminsandiego Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 i assume the AD board and OTS board aren't related at all?
Spaceballs Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 ROTC, OTS, active duty, and the academy applicants all meet separate boards.
Sketch Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) That's my understanding as well. Since that came out after the board, I would assume they're wanting to make sure the top packages want to do enjjpt since people don't have the option to not choose it. So in other words it just got WAY more competitive to get selected for it now? Edited March 12, 2015 by Justanothercadet
Spaceballs Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 I don't think it's any more competitive than usual. I think this is the first year they've used the 215 where enjjpt is the same box as upt, so they're probably just wanting to make sure enjjpt selectees actually want it since some people may get picked up and want normal upt.
bangingplates Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Nothing new relative to what's been posted thus far but wanted to share but a bro talked to AFPC on Monday(March 9th) and their claim was to expect results in three weeks. I haven't heard anything on the significance of the recent ENJJPT emails, though.... Also, wanted to add that last year's 215 had the ENJJPT/UPT single box format and they didn't email ENJJPT selectees before the results came out.

Cell phone hard. Typing difficult. Fingers fat.
Cavok Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 So expect results in three weeks from March 9th? or since the board ended (somewhere around today/tomorrow)?
Spaceballs Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 This is week 3, so I'm guessing 3 more weeks if the results aren't out tomorrow morning.
