Chicken Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 My wife goes to college with someone who would like to join the AF through OTS and become a PJ. Anyone have any insight on if this is even possible or how difficult it would be? I have no idea how the recruiting process/pipeline is for this sort of thing.
busdriver Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 What you're looking for is combat rescue officer.
Chicken Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 What you're looking for is combat rescue officer. So what would I tell this kid ...or best way to give advice/direction?
Chicken Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Have him call the Portland Guard STS and talk to one of the Chiefs. It'd be tough to become a CRO off the street, but they were looking for PJs. And it's the Guard. I'll send him the info.. thanks!
pcola Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Before he calls anyone, tell him to spend some time researching www.specialtactics.com. Then he can be reasonably well informed before asking stupid questions. 1
